بعض اقوى برامج الـ FTP
#1
السـلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
اليكم بعض اهم واقوى برامج الـ FTP.
FTP Navigator 7.70
FTP (File Transfer Protocol) was initially used in Unix systems a number of years ago to copy and move shared network files. With the development of the Internet, FTP found broader application in uploading and downloading online data, and especially posting websites on ISP servers.
These tasks can now be performed by a special program called FTP Clients. While the operating system of MS Windows contains a built-in FTP client system, it has failed to gain popularity and can only run in command line mode.

Before choosing an FTP client program, it is especially important to look for a solution that delivers a full range of options for files and folders both on local computer systems and FTP servers, such as uploading , downloading, moving, deleting and modifying file properties. All other features are helpful, but non-essential options which tend to clutter the interface and usually duplicate the functions of other programs.

FTP Commander is ideal for aspiring webmasters

If you are on a business trip or vacation in a distant Internet cafe on some tiny island, where you only have access to a computer with a small CPU, hard drive and limited RAM, are forced to count every kilobyte and minute online, hate having to avoid cluttering the owner's system registry with your own data, are used to Norton Commander, turned off by dwarfs and banners hopping all over your screen, when all you really need to do is transfer a few files - then this ftp program is a must for you!

FTP Commander client is simple and easy to use. It's really the bare minimum with no extra frills or thrills. It offers a no-nonsense interface consisting of two side-by-side local computer and FTP server panels. The latter contains a list of about a dozen pre-set FTP servers. It's easy as pie to establish a connection. All you have to do is select the server you want on the list and push the Connect button. Pre-configuring a list of most frequently accessed servers will make your life even easier. An application also enables users to execute two-way file exchanges and activate multiple downloads. FTP Commander software also makes it possible to run programs located on local disks, or view documents. This ftp program occupies far less space on hard drives and RAM than other similar paid programs. It also allows you to delete, rename and and copy files, create and delete directories in the FTP server and work in command line mode. A session log file is also available. And what is more, the program is absolutely free and does not contain any annoying ad banners.

NetAnts
Following the first generation of download managers like GetRight, emerged the second generation of download managers with multithread functionality. Being compact, stable, easy to use and with a well-designed user interface, NetAnts have been regarded as the representative of second generation download managers.

Have you watched a those shows on the Discovery Channel or the Learning Channel where they show a colony of ants digging tunnels or chopping up leaves? Each ant in the colony does one tiny little part of the entire job. By itself each ant's contribution seems minuscule but when you multiply that by thousands or millions of other ants the results can be enormous. That's essentially what NetAnts does. By having say 5 different connections all downloading a small piece of the overall file, the whole task is done in a much shorter period of time. If one connection happens to be slow or die out, no problem. There are 4 others still chugging away. With the ability to split files into chunks and download simultaneously, it dramatically speeds up your download time.

NetAnts allows you to easily perform batch downloads from the Internet, either totally unattended, or while you're surfing with your favorite web browser. To select which files to download, you can manually add file names to the queue, activate a clipboard monitor that automatically grabs the file names that you've copied, or let NetAnts capture clicks from your browser. You can even create a "drop basket" on your desktop, and drag and drop files from your Web browser.

Moreover, it offers numerous valuable options to users:
HTTP/FTP multithread downloading with resuming capability
Flexible batch job methods to download multiple files
Superior browser integration
HTTP/FTP/SOCKS proxy management
Automatic categorization of downloaded files
Automatic or manual traffic control
Automation and scheduling functionality
Ability to fix corrupt ZIP archives
Multi-language support, more than two dozen languages available now
And more...

FTP Explorer

FTP Explorer is a 32-bit FTP application that is extremely simple to operate, and makes moving files between the Internet and your computer as simple as local file manipulation. Several features of FTP Explorer make it stand head and shoulders above most other FTP programs that are currently available.

Take a look at the Screen Shots!

At a glance, some of these advanced features are:

New! Connection Wizard walks you through the process of creating a connection profile.

New! Automatic update checks for updated versions at startup and installs them if you choose.

Download or upload files to one or more servers while browsing and selecting files to transfer on another. That's right!, FTP Explorer handles all file transfer requests in the background, so you don't have to wait while files copy to continue browsing the current server. You can even connect to a different server, and the program will automatically log off of the original server once the requested transfer has completed.

Can't connect? Not to worry. FTP Explorer will automatically retry if the connection attempt fails. You can configure the number of times it should try to connect, and the time delay between connection attempts.

Support for resuming interrupted file transfers. FTP Explorer attempts to resume a file transfer if it detects a file with the same name in the current download directory. This can save you time and connection costs for those troublesome connections. (Note: not all ftp servers support this option.)

No more searching through that index file for the entry you're looking for. FTP Explorer can automatically download and display the proper description of each file with the file that it describes. As an option, the program will automatically download the index file on the server and display the file descriptions next to the appropriate files while you browse. Several standard index file formats are currently supported.

The new Transfer Manager allows you to ascertain the details of download or upload requests at a glance. The source, destination, and status of each request is detailed in the Transfer Manager window to keep you apprised of multiple connections, and make it easy to see which files have been transferred.

Create file or directory FTP shortcuts on your desktop to launch FTP Explorer and automatically connect to your most commonly visited FTP sites.

Like icons? Like descriptions? No problem. FTP Explorer uses the Windows 95 style list boxes for displaying the contents of remote servers. Toggle between large icons, small icons, lists, or full descriptions of the files you are browsing. Its intelligent tree view learns the directory structure as it goes.

Windows 95 style right-click menus keep options at your fingertips. The most commonly used options are only a mouse click away. Menu options change based on the type of file or directory that is highlighted.

Intelligent Command Queue enables background completion of each command, so you don't have to wait on directory listings!. Once connected to a server, FTP Explorer maintains a list of commands to carry out which makes listing files and searching the server much faster. Select the directories that you want to browse as soon as you connect, and FTP Explorer will go to work downloading the directory information and listing its contents in the background while you continue to browse. As each directory listing is completed, its color changes to let you know you can view it without any delay.

The Quick Connect option lets you immediately connect to a site without having to go through the usual song-and-dance of adding a site to the profile list.

Full Drag and Drop support. Simply drag one or more files or complete directory structures -- onto the FTP Explorer's file view area to transfer them to the location of the server that is currently connected. Receiving files is also as simple as dragging one or more files (or directories) onto your desktop, or any other folder.
